iPad Mini
When the Apple iPad Mini finally arrived it was cause for much celebration. This little tablet had been rumored for years. The Mini offers a very sizeable 7.9-inch screen with the exact same resolution as the iPad 2. Yet unlike the iPad 2, the iPad Mini is extremely portable and is much lighter than the larger version. The Mini weighs in at a mere 0.68 pounds and is only 7.2mm thick making it the perfect option for portability.
It has a long lasting battery life which means you won’t constantly be searching for somewhere to charge and can use it for more than 12 hours without worry. For those that travel often this battery life is a lifesaver. Additionally, the display is bright, clear and easy to read with its 163ppi pixel density which is actually much better than the iPad 2’s pixel density at 132ppi.
The iPad Mini is also constructed very well. It is suggested to purchase a case of some sort but if you have to go without one for a while the iPad Mini will hold up just fine.
The camera leaves something to be desired but is completely workable if you’re on the spot and just need to take a photo. With just 5 megapixels just like the Ipad Mini 3 you’ll get the photo you need but it won’t be as high quality as an actual camera but it is certainly better than nothing.
If you’re looking for a smaller tablet and don’t want to spend a ton of money, the iPad Mini is a perfect option. It has all of the features you could need and comes in an attractive and durable package.
